Montana Decoy Elk

The product was shipped promptly, and received same.

The product appears lifelike, although it is a little small, looking more like an elk calf, than a full grown elk cow. Upon unfolding it, the head (which is actually the most important part to an elk looking from a distance), would not stand up. A piece of shaped plastic is used to hold the head up, and the piece in my decoy is permanantly arched, so the head falls over and will not stand up straight. I will see if I can fix it, and it and may call the manufacturer to see if this is standard or not. At $100, the product is over-priced for what you get. The price being more a function of limited (or no) competition than of production cost. If defective, i hope to get a new one, but i feel they all might be that way, since they have to fit the head into the bag they come in and the only way is to cram the head in, with it bent over.
