Wanting to get into fly fishing, but not wanting to invest too much in a possible fleeting fancy, I decided to get this combo. I unfortunately was very dissapointed in it. The first time out one of the eyes broke, the line that came with it was in a constant tangle and the pole is really stiff. For a few dollars more you can have a set-up that you will get alot more enjoyment out of.

I bought this for my son because he was interested in fly fishing. We've gone out a few times and it's worked alright. It's not a great piece of equipment, but what do you expect from something as cheap as this? If you want to learn or have a kid who might be interested then it's a decent set to get them started.
