Great mellow sound. Resonates better then the plastic ones.. Fools quail into close range so you'll need to be ready for them..

By far and away they best quail call I have found. You just need to find a way to attach it to yourself or make it easy to find. I have lost a bunch of these things just bending over to grab the quail. It is about the size of a tootsie roll and is just the same color as the ground cover in most of the areas I hunt. A small zip tie works fine for me and I just clip it to my lanyard with my other calls. An O-Ring would probably work as well.
