I bought this for myself and my son who is in Boy Scouts last year. I love it, it works everytime and even when wet or dirty. I use it with the wet fire tinder cubes I also bought at sportsmans. The Swedish steel works much better than the cheaper alternatives.

I bought this last year for backpacking and it hasn't failed me once. It's still fairly cheap and puts out a lot of sparks wet or dry.
