Lew's Custom Inshore Speed Spool SLP Casting Reel - Whether you are chasing Stripers on the East coast, snook in the keys, or roosters on the West coast the Custom Inshore Speed Spool will tackle them all. Lews has built the Custom Inshore Speed Spool with a tough aluminum frame, anodized forged aluminum spool, brass gearing, and 10 stainless steel bearings to ensure it will withstand a lifetime of tough salt conditions. The aluminum spool, spool tension adjustment, and bowed lightweight reel handle are all double anodized to ensure that salt will have no affect on them. The Winn Dri-Tac handles and Lew's combat grip pad on thumb bar will ensure that you are able to keep a strong grip on the reel. The Inshore Speed Spool features a carbon fiber drag system that will not be bested by any inshore species. The externally adjustable Multi-Setting Brake (MSB) dual cast control system utilizes both an external click-dial for setting the magnetic brake, plus 4 individually disengaging, disc-mounted internal brake shoes that operate centrifugally.
