I have had many range finders but nothing comes close to this one! 5stars in my book!
THIS IS NOT REALLY A REVIEW BUT LEUPOLD PRODUCTS ARE THE BEST. I PURCHASED THE RX-750 TBR RANGEFINDER IN SEPTEMBER OF 2009. THESE WERE STATE OF ART THEN AND ARE STILL A GREAT RANGEFINDER. I'M PRETTY MUCH A BOW ONLY WHITETAIL HUNTER SO I RELY AND USE MY RANGEFINDER ALOT. IN DEC. OF 2016 I HAD A SMALL ISSUE WITH THE READOUT OF MY TBR READOUT. I SENT THEM BACK TO LEUPOLD AND WITHIN 2 WEEKS I NOT ONLY HAD A BRAND NEW RANGEFINDER BUT LEUPOLD UPGRADED ME WITH THE RX-850i TBR. ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT MFG. BY LEUPOLD. LEUPOLD PRODUCTS ARE OF GREAT QUALITY AND THEIR CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND WARRANTY ARE, BAR NONE, THE BEST.
I have used this rangefinder at the shooting range as well as in the field. It is very lightweight, compact and easy to use. It has all the features you would ever need and at a great price! I highly recommend this product.
This rangefinder has worked great for 3D competitions, archery hunting and longer range rifle shots. Two clicks is all it takes to have confidant shots time after time. The trophy scale is nice to have and play with but I have yet to have an animal stop long enough to get a good read. I have had no issues while operating this product.
This is the perfect rangefinder for archery and gun hunters. It has everything that you need, and then some.
I been using this rangefinder for the last 4 months and I love it it so accurate
I just want to say I love this rangefinder!!!! I bought it for hunting purposes and the clarity is amazing. So close to perfect ranges it is unbelievable. Wouldn't trade my 850 for the world!!!
The 850i is my first rangefinder. It arrived about 4 days before my hunt.It was easy to set up and use. I was in AK, and could definitely see farther than I could shoot, but I always knew where my maximum range was in any direction. I would estimate range visually, and then check it with the Leupold. Sometimes we were very close, but many times we weren't. I learned to trust the Leupold for range.
By title of this review I am amazed at the technology available to hunters in the age we live in! If I would have been able to whip this tool out, and use it back when my mentors were first allowing me into their secret hunting fraternity, I would have been given a real spot to hunt instead of the one I was given. Seems I was used as a dog instead of a hunter. but on to the amazing tool its self. This thing provides accurate info even when you expect it to fail. Distance is measured so accurately that you can critic shooting range target placement and always be correct. uphill downhill calculations are spot on and ease of use is amazing. I have not found anything to critique in the negative realm on this amazing tool. I carry an extra battery because I expect there to be some form of drain over an extended period of non-use. Well I'm wrong there also! The battery I'm currently using is the original and the indicator tells me it is still full charge. I love the fact that my 300 win mag ballistics match a pre selected program in the tool (all calibers are in there) and that it is accurate to what I actually experience at the range! This gives me the confidence to actually use the rangefinder as I expected during hunting situations. When the viewfinder tells me to hold over 8", I have still hit the 1" sticky. I have shot out to 450 yards and once again it gives me the confidence to hit a clay target. I will never be without a Leopold range finder in my arsenal of tools to hunt with. a great match for my Browning rifle topped with a Leopold VX-3. Buy Quality first and you will not be disappointed!
