This thing heats up really quick. It only holds four pounds, but that's more than enough for my melting needs. I rarely cast more than that in a single session, anyway. Seems like the build quality is great, and it's pretty affordable. This will make your life much easier than melting over a fire with a melting pot.

Well I purchased this item for my husband as a Birthday Gift, And he loves it very much so far. He Made about 450 bullets with it on the day he got it in the mail, and another couple hundred the day after that. Now he needs to get more lead to make more. His only complaint is that he would rather have had the larger self pouring model the next time. Other then that he is very satisfied with this product.
