With scale set on zero drop the paper on the pan to see if it moves. It should read about .1 grain. Keep adding paper squares until it does move. Lee makes a good product. Solid and reliable. You will need to know how to convert cubic centimeters into grains when using this powder measure. I'm sure there are a few websites that can do it. Ultra sensitive measuring kit, though. I've had some really tight groups that I think have a lot to do with how consistent the powder measure is.
