Designed for medium and larger sized fish, the Coho sports a full 8" cutting edge. Hollow ground and razor sharp, your fish will fillet beautifully with this knife. The premium grade 440C stainless steel blade has a Rockwell hardness of 57-59 and holds a very sharp edge. Finely crafted tip serrations will enable you to quickly and cleanly cut through the toughest fish skin and small bones

You are getting what you paid for here. Love the knife. Very Sharp! I have used it on a dozen salmon already and no complaints. Fillets are a smooth cut, and rib bones come off easily. Knife cleans up nicely. Store it away at home so I don't drop it in the water while fishing. :-) My friend did that... not wanting a repeat.
Very high end fillet knife, great for the avid fisherman who is looking for a knife that will hold up under long use. I like the fact that is came with a case; it makes it easy to carry at all times. Very easy to keep a good edge on and requires little sharpening.
