Great sandal/ light hiker. These sandals are waterproof and great for light hiking and anything that involves water. They are super comfortable.

Wore these in Afghanistan when it was night and you had to get up in a hurry. Worked great, lasted well (even in the sharp rocks and grit they call soil). Bought another pair when I got home (09) and will buy another pair when I wear these out. They make the I'm trendy leather variety, but these you can get wet, hose off/dry and go again. Great closed toe sandal. If you are not fond of stub toes in the middle of the night, try these out.
