It's a great all-around knife. You can use it for anything from cutting rope to cutting off branches blocking my shooting lanes. I never go on any hunting or camping trip without it.

I have used this knife as an outdoorsman and in the Army. I have used my Ka-Bar for delicate work like re-sizing bandages to heavy work like cutting/clearing branches. The blade maintains its razor edge. I have been so impressed with this knife that I bought a second one as a birthday present for myself 6 years after my original purchase. They have improved the sheath so now there are 3 fail-safes to keep the knife in the sheath until you want it to come out. An excellent knife with many uses.
