I fish about 100 days a year on stillwater and this anchor holds my 16' cataraft pretty well in wind. I can lift it by hand and have not gotten it stuck yet. I feel for the money and for holding a light boat you would find this a very adequate anchor. It is certainly better than any other I have tried. Definitely would reccomend it.
