Great new unit from Garmin. Among the first to also use Glonass (Russian) satellite information for a faster, more accurate fix. (You can turn off Glonass reception to reduce power use.) Nice update to long running eTrex series. Now uses the built in (carabiner) mounting system. (The carabiner is not include with unit.) Easier to operate than older units. Built in memory allows more map options in conjunction with micro-sd cards. (Including aerial imagery) Only negative is small USB cable coming with new units - not everyone uses a laptop.
