Purchased the Garmin Oregon 450T for my wife for her birthday. It is a great unit for geocaching and my wife is extremely happy with it. It has brought our family closer together. She got into geocaching a few years back, knows the acronyms and everything. Her handle is "MommyOf4". She was ready to move up from her entry level GPSr (Global Positioning System receiver). We read with interest the chapters in her geocaching books with GPSr recommendations, reviewed many of the products online and talked with a lot of active geocachers. We decided to purchase this unit after talking with a very helpful Sportsman’s Warehouse employee who explained the 450T utilizes the same advanced receiver technology as Garmin's top of the line unit with the pushbutton user interface. She loves the touch screen user interface. Having so many options was a bit overwhelming at first; but, she learned the screens could be customized so she could quickly get to the features she was most interested in—-those specifically for geocaching. She loves geocaching with the 450T. She is "amazed" at how accurate it is at pinpointing the location of a geocache. She loves the paperless geocaching features which allow cache details, logs, hints and coordinates, etc. to be downloaded to the 450T from the internet using a personal computer.

Awesome!!! With the addad Birdseye maps its the best nav. aid ever made. Eazy to use, and takes a beating. I've used a Rino 530Hcx for a few years and after using the 450T I'll never go back!!!
