Bought these to head to Whittier for the weekend. It rained lightly one day. I wore these on the shore for about 30 minutes and they were okay for the light rain(didn't sit down in them yet), however, when I got on the boat I sat on a cooler that had been rained on..not drenched and within 10 minutes these had soaked through in the crotch. Made for a wet colder ride. By the time the boat ride was done(about 1.5 hours) the sides by my outer thighs had leaked through as well. Save your money! Very disappointed they are barely water resistant let alone waterproof!
