Fly Fishing Tips from the Traveling Fly Fisherman 2002 -In 1987, Jack Dennis, Mike Lawson and Gary Lafontaine formed The Traveling Fly Fisherman. Each were well known fly fishermen with books, magazine articles, videos and TV shows to their credit. When they presented as a group, their diverse skills and individual styles made for some exciting fly fishing programs and over the years they forged a lifelong bond of friendship with their love of the sport. For over 13 years The Traveling Fly Fisherman have taught and entertained fly fisherman at seminars and sport shows in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. In 1999 Gary Lafontaine was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). The group continued to give programs in spite of Gary's debilitating disease. Gary's courage and determination to over come ALS was an inspiration for all that attended the seminars. In January 2002, Gary succumbed to the dreaded disease, but without a battle, this DVD is dedicated to that spirit.
