Fleetwood Monarch Take Down Youth Recurve Bow

I bought this bow apx 2 months ago for archery practice. This has proven to be a reliable and resiliant bow great for beginners, not so great for the more experienced archer. The two main issues I have with the bow are the arrow rest and bowstring. The arrow rest HAD to go, as it was chewing up my fletching so I replaced it rather quickly with a traditional bear hair and leather arrow rest. My 2nd major gripe is the bow string. After only 2 weeks, the serving is already beginning to fray. But don't let this dissuade you from buying an inexpensive beginner bow. Everything I mentioned cost me 30.00 to make this a fun bow to shoot. 5.00 for a traditional arrow rest and 25.00 for a custom bow string. I hope this helps.
