I would only use this sharpener on the cheapest of my knives

juile of bronx, NY - July, 07 2011:

this is the bomb for a quik sharpening. a few stroks and it's sharp enough to shave with

Ty of SLC, UT - July, 13 2011:

This works great! Keep it in the kitchen and I hit my knives before I use it.

jp of springs, CO - July, 14 2011:

POOR DESIGN! The wheels on thing do nothing but bite, pinch, and chip the blade unless you are seriously gentile with it. It's not a good design and it's too large to carry with you.

art of sacramento, CA - November, 24 2011:

Do not buy this knife sharpener it garbage. I use this on my knives what a piece of crap..I had to go out and buy new knifes. The worst investment I ever did.

JohnS of Lewistown, MT - February, 02 2011:

This sharpener was the worst waste of money I have made in quite some time. I tried using it three different times with three different knives and each time they were more dull than when I started. I ended up throwing it in the trash before I dulled any more knives. A flat rock would be far superior to this thing. I can't bring myself to call it a sharpener. If you want to make a dull edge even duller this is the tool for you.

GC of Phoenix, AZ - June, 07 2014:

I agree this sharpener was a waste of money I have made in quite some time. I tried using it several different times with eight different knives and each time they were more dull than when I started. I ended up giving it to Goodwill before I dulled any more knives. A flat rock would be far superior to this thing or a Wicked Edge USA Knife Sharpeners if the cost was not so high. I can't bring myself to call it a sharpener. If you want to make a dull edge even duller this is the tool for you.
