Don of Ames, IA - March, 15 2011:
This is an AWESOME shelter! Sets up easily, the features on the windows and doors really make it a great shelter. High quality, and it is nice to be able to standup in the enire shelter, without hitting my head. I am 6'3", and this has extra room above my head. I'm buying another next year, hooking the two together by fabricating some cloth, and having one as a sleeping quarter, and the other for fishing. This will be for extended stays on the ice, instead of getting a hotel, when out of town. Love it!Doug of Grand Junction, CO - October, 24 2010:
This is the one. I have used 6 different shelters and this one is the best there is. Period. Don't let the size deceive you. My Grandaughter can carry this one across the lake on her shoulders! The carrying straps are so well balanced you hardly know it is there. I have had 4 people in this (with LOTS of elbow room) with 2 holes a piece, electronics, tables, t'v's/camera's and one small propane heater and it is literally a cabin on the ice. Set up takes less than 5 minutes. Literally. It is probably 3 minutes and take down is the same. Never been in a more comfortable, sturdy, easy to set up and take down hut ever. I have been ice fishing for 40 years. BUY IT!Lawrence Scott of Pueblo, CO - January, 14 2013:
I got the QuickFish 6 for christmas and being my first season ice fishing I couldn't be happier. Less than a minute to put up and take down. Real easy set up and take down. I would recommend this ice shelter to anyone.Trevor of Salt Lake City, UT - December, 09 2010:
This is absolutely the best ice fishing purchase I have ever made. It sets up in 3 minutes. It takes down in less. It is light, durable (we have used ours for a few seasons now with no problems at all), keeps you warm and dry. You can literally pick it up at both ends and move it wherever you want. Also the "stakes" that come with it are like giant screws and they work really well. No more sunburn, or windburn. I now ice fish in 75 degree weather. Buy one, you will love it.Nathan of Devils Lake, ND - December, 19 2010:
This is not a fish house for North Dakota. The sides blow in with a 5 mph wind. I would not recommend this product if you live in a windy state. The best thing about this is the room.Erick of Taylorsville, UT - December, 29 2010:
I have a QF6 and have used it on the Flaming Gorge when the wind was pushing gusts of at least 25 to 30 mph. At first it kept taking the sides and the top in on us until we realized that this shelter was engineered to have both doors zipped completly up inorder for the sides and top to stay put. Once we did that it with stood the wind no problem. I think this is the best pop up that I have ever fished in. Plenty of room for 4 anglers and all the equipment inside the shelter or 6 anglers and leave the equipment outside.Drew of Logan, UT - January, 09 2011:
Bought this Friday night tried it out saturday morning at Hyrum Dam for being a 6 man tent thats impossible it will hold 3 confortably 4 be kinda tight but 6 not going to happen some of the stitching you can see through to the outside it is easy to put up and take down just kinda concerned how long it with hold up on the stitching but other than that it is nice roomy for 3 confortably 4 be tight.Jonny of provo, UT - December, 27 2013:
Awesome tent. . Lots of room, Flaps on the side are easily secured to the ice, You can easily pile snow on the flaps which keeps wind out and keeps it nice and warm, went out fishing in 30 degree weather, it was sunny and the inside of the tent got up to 70 F we were in T shirts Ice fishing. GREAT TENT!!!sergio of fairbanks, AK - December, 13 2014:
Bought the Ice tent and only used a handful of times before a seem, that holds one of the pop up poles in place ripped off completely; poorly assembled would not recommend will not buy again.... disappointed. Really had high hopes for this and to top it off my brand new Eskimo ice auger pull cord broke shocker good job Eskimo way to make quality products. just a bad day on the ice.dan cox of billings, MT - January, 11 2015:
Well not very happy with this item the first time i took this out. We went to put the ice cleats in one of the grommets on the quickfish 6 and it came off. Very cheap material and after we got it all up we went inside and all of the black stuff on the walls that keeps the sunlight out was cracked. Very dissapointed.
