Received it fast. Easy assembly, ice just now getting thick enough for safety. Will use soon.
I love my ice auger and it works Great. I did have one problem, the starter recoil spring, it doesn't pull the starter rope back in all the time. I hope the warrenty will cover that.
HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED CUTS THRU 10 INCHES OF ICE VERY WELL. HAS PLENTY OF POWER. AFTER PUMPING PRIMER STARTS AND RUNS WELL. I TAKE THE GRANDKIDS AND IF I HAD TO CUT BY HAND OVER FIFTEEN HOLES I DONT THINK I COULD DO IT IN 20 MINUTES AND THIS TAKES LESS THAN 5 MINUTES
Very happy so far. starts with just a few pulls. My first gas auger and I'm glad i went with this model over stingray.
I bought one of these new this year and couldn't be happier. I have the 10" model, and it drills through ice quickly and easily. It takes 5-6 pulls to start when it is cold, and one pull once it is warm. Idles and runs perfect. I have drilled a lot of holes with it, and it is excellent quality. No leaking of gas during transport, and very solidly made. I like! Use no ethanol with these, use seafoam gas treatment, dump your gas each spring, run engine till carb is dry and engine dies, and you will be a happy auger owner.
Have used this auger about 8x since purchasing it last month. Cold start, low 20s, takes a couple or so pulls. No problems starting. Runs well once started. What I really like is the slow constant movement of the blades. Slow, meaning, you do not have to fight the machine to keep is upright during use. Cuts through 16 inches of ice in a minute or so.
I own this auger and i will never drill another hole with a hand auger. very reliable, starts right up every time! all ya gotta do is squeeze the throttle and watch it bore a nice 10" hole in no time. even through hard ice!
I own this one in the 10 inch and it cuts thru the ice like butter with no effort. Never had more than a 2 pull start and 99% of the time it is a one pull start. Reliable and dependable and purrs like a kitten. GREAT AUGER!
