I'm very new to compound bows and been using this bow for 2 months now. I can hit targets at 50-60 yards fairly easy. I'm sure I'm no time I'll be able to hit 70-100 yard targets. The bow itself is fairly light and easy to carry around especially if your hunting. You can easily adjust the poundage with an Allen wrench. I started at 40lbs and have worked my way to the max of 70lbs. The bow is very accurate as well. I would highly recommend this bow to beginners and pros. My friend has been bow hunting for 17 years and has a 2k plus bow and he said mine was just as good as his. I show his bow and honestly I felt mine was lighter and easier to hold steady. This tells you that a 400 dollar bow can do just as much as a high end bow.
Just got back into bow hunting after 42 years, my buddy told me to check the Diamond Edge SB-1 out, GLAD I DID!!!
Great feel, accuracy, weight, just the absolute BEST FOR THE MONEY!!!!
Can't wait until MT elk season!!!
Paul the archery manager at Sportsmans Warehouse / Missoula is one of the Best employee's I have EVER dealt with!!!!!
Wish every archer had the chance to deal with Paul!!!
Just started geting into bows and with doing lots of research this bow kept popping up. It's so simple adjusting this bow can be done at home with no bow press required. From 5-70 lbs of draw my wife and I can both shoot this bow in the backyard. The crew at sportsmens was great and helped out so much with setting me up and geting me started, they have a ten yard range in the store and had me shooting the bullseye before I left. Very happy with everything!
After years of shooting competitive archery, I took a break about 10 years ago. I wanted to get back into archery, but mostly for hunting this time around. I was amazed at the smoothness, speed, and ease of use of this bow, all for a very reasonable price.
Compared to other diamond bows out on the market this one is by far one of the loudest and has the most hand shock to it. All of diamond's bow are very smooth and quiet but this one has none of those qualities. If you're an experienced hunter I do not recommend this bow but if you are a beginner then this bow is great.
I tried this awesome bow at Sportsman's Warehouse today!! I really likes how it shoots! Plus if you are looking for a bow for practice or to hunt with, thus would be the one!!!
And, I'm also getting me one of these!!
