I was looking for something cheap for my son to start fishing with. He seemed to like this reel so I picked it up for him. I think I actually like it more than he does. The trigger release was more comfortable than I thought it would be. We've been out a few times with this reel and it's worked really well. I'll have to check out more Daiwa products.

The design of this reel is awesome. The trigger and drag placement make it easy to cast and adjust your drag without to much hassle. Easy to use, good design, and a great value.
