My family has had one of these for about 10 years now. Works great, makes coffee just like what you get at home, no grounds floating around the bottom of a percolator pot. Uses your standard filters as well, which eliminates the need to buy a second style just for camping. The only potential issue is that you need to pay attention to the construction of the unit- the bottom is metal, yet the top is plastic... You need to make sure you don't get the flame too high, and that you keep the metal base centered over the flame. You also can't leave the flame on under it once it's finished brewing either, just like leaving an empty kettle on the heat. Let's just say we are on our 2nd coleman coffee maker :) Other than that a great product, not the kind of person to take away stars due to an operator error (wasn't me personally), obviously we bought the same exact product the second time, and in their defense I recall the manual warned of all these issues.
