This thing is HUGE! I've been using this machete for a while now, and it's great for camping and hunting. If you need to clear a shooting lane, this thing will do it. The picture shows a sheath, but it doesn't come with one. You can get one from Sportsman's, and I'd recommend it. It's just too much blade to have laying around without a sheath, and forget carrying it without one. The handle it rubber, and it has a cool little knob that really helps keep a grip on it. The steel is soft, but sharpens really easily.

Now this is a machete, a long blade for a longer cutting swipe means less swinging. The little duck bill on the end of the handle (which is rubber for a better grip and control) keeps you from losing your grip and losing the machete. This particular machete does not come with a sheath but it would be in your best interest to buy one at Sportsman's when you pick this machete up. This has a soft steel as do most machete's but does sharpen easily.
