Bought for my first personal build, have 8 1/2 yrs experience with ar's. Did 6 months worth of research before buying the tac 30 and dont regret it. Illumination adjustment is something i liked in the m68, adjustment on the fly per the BDC is a plus. All in all, worth the money. Just wish would come with ARD and flip up dust protectors

I purchased this scope brand new. I mounted the TAC30 1-4X24 on top of an Ar-15. I have not shot the AR-15 with scope on it yet and when I looked through the scope I saw two flakes which look like metal(aluminum) inside resting on the front lense. I say metal because when I used my flashlight to see inside the front lense I could see light reflecting off the flakes. So I'm assuming they are metal shavings. I then worked the bolt of the AR a few times to try and get the pieces to move and one did. Now I only see one flake but the other is floating around somewhere inside. I'm still debating whether to send it back to Burris or just use the scope as is. Again, I haven't even shot with the scope yet. It had the metal flakes present without any gun recoil breaking them loose. Quality control is a little lacking for a scope that costs this much. Still an awesome scope which most people give great reviews. Definitely disappointed in mine.

Comments about Burris Fullfield TAC30 Rifle Scope with Fastfire II Red Dot Sight Combo:

Got this for last Christmas and put it on a week ago took to the range ( back deck ) 4 rounds later and the tac30 and fast fire was sighted in and my 12 year old daughter loves it absolutely enilalated the target/Miller lite can @ 40 yards. Great little battle sight. If you haven't done the 27 meters sight in I recommend trying it. Do so research on it works great for a battle sight.

Comments about Burris Fullfield TAC30 Rifle Scope with Fastfire II Red Dot Sight Combo:

Bought this for my AR and it's basically useless past 50 yards. I can shoot better with just basic sights so don't waste your money. This is nothing more than a weak scope that looks really cool

Sig Sauer MCX 300 Blackout

Comments about Burris Fullfield TAC30 Rifle Scope with Fastfire II Red Dot Sight Combo:

I have had no trouble getting the Fullfield TAC30 mounted and zeroed in at 100 yards. The scope is an excellent addition to the MCX. We plan to use this rifle for mid-range shots in 3 Gun competitions. The scope is crystal clear and the variable brightness illuminated reticle is spot on.

Great for the price!

Comments about Burris Fullfield TAC30 Rifle Scope with Fastfire II Red Dot Sight Combo:

I bought this for my AR. My intent was to be able to shoot accurately up to three hundred yards, while also realizing that two hundred or less would be my norm. In this regard it is excellent. Though I didn't think I would really utilize the FastFire III, I have fallen in love with it.
If I had to ding the TAC30, it would be that the illuminated reticle doesn't work in bright sunlit conditions. I have had an issue with this when I was shooting at a black target and couldn't make out the reticle from the target.
