The Double Nasty II polycarb by Buck Gardner Calls is easy to learn and very forgiving. It has great basic quack and easy to run the scale the call is capable of. It does not have the same dynamic range of a single reed acrylic. Which is what makes it a great starter call. I would recommend this to any beginning waterfowler.kevin of jerome, ID - May, 28 2011:
I bought this call last season and it was awsome. Great productD of Blackfoot, ID - November, 09 2012:
Great call for the price. Sounds great and easy to use for double reed call.It has a good ducky sound and I use is for ducks in close.Clayton of Las Vegas, NV - February, 09 2013:
Great call, especially for the price! Pretty good for just about everything except for louder hail calls. I've only been duck hunting for 4 years now, and I haven't had the desire to drop $100+ on a call yet. But I do have a perceptible ear and this call sounds pretty close to the real thing if used right. Lots of rasp, loud and it doesn't stick too easily. And if you're the crafty type, I actually cut new reeds from the packaging it came in and and replaced them and I like the sound a little better.
