Buck 105 Pathfinder - Classic, all-purpose, heavy-duty. This smaller version of the 119 Special is perfect for general outdoor use.

Buck 105 Pathfinder - The Pathfinder is a smaller version of one of the most popular knives of all times: The Buck 119 Special. This is a true hunting knife. The Pathfinder features full tang construction, a finger guard integrated into the blade, thumb grip ridges and a deep choil. The Pathfinder has a black phenolic handle with a polished metal bolster and guard, and includes a black leather sheath. This knife is for the serious hunter who values quality knives.

Solid knife. Holds an edge well. Thick heavy sheath. It will last 2 lifetimes. I do wish it had a non slip grip.

Purchased one of these in 1967. Have replaced the sheath several times, but the knife is still going strong! Used mostly for cleaning fish, but must have gone through 1,000 pounds of fish per year. If you buy only one fixed bladed knife, make it this one. For the money (times three), there is no better! Deserves 10 stars!!!
