Browning McKinley Sleeping Bag - The McKinley is a "heavy duty" oversized hooded rectangle bag. It uses a 2-layer offset construction to eliminate cold spots. The McKinley series use Techloft Insulation. Techloft Insulation consists of multi-hole staple-length micro-denier fibers that have a siliconized finish for maximum insulation, loft, and compactness. It will keep you toasty on those colder nights when you'd prefer to have more "wiggle room" than you get with your mummy bag. The contoured hood also helps keep you warmer and keeps your warmth sealed in. For transporting, we include a compression stuff sack and roll-up straps. This is a great hunting bag for those frigid nights when you want a good night sleep.
- 210T Nylon Diamond Ripstop Outer

As a Scoutmaster in the BSA I have used lots of bags and this one is great! I like the room of a rectangular bag byt the top opening of a mummy bag to prevent heat loss. One of the best things is the offset layers to prevent heat loss along the body.Glen of Denver, CO - September, 25 2011:
Wow!! I love this Bag. the only thing is thats its bulky,Other than that its GREAT!! I was going ot order it online, for $ 139.00,but Sportsman's has it fro $99.99, even better!! You can't go wrong with this sleeping bag!!Phats of Colorado Springs, CO - September, 27 2011:
I bought this sleeping bag for a camping trip and for hunting and I was very impressed with it. The sleeping bag had a good amount of room to move around in when all zipped up inside it. I had absolutely no problem keeping warm with this sleeping bag. This sleeping bag has plenty of head room. I have owned different kinds of sleeping bags in the past and I would have to say this is the best one I own out of all of them and was very impressed with the comfortableness and the warmth that this sleeping bag offers. I highly recommend this sleeping bag, I give it a 5 out of 5 I have no complaints about this bag.Mike of Boise, ID - January, 12 2012:
I spent the night on the Snake River in this bag. Got down to 18 at night. I was more than warm and comfortable in this bag. Bought the same bag for my wife.David of Medford, OR - October, 12 2012:
It doesn't get much lower than zero degrees where I usually camp so I went with the zero instead of the -30 degree bag. It provided great heat and tons of room for the feet. Great purchase.archer of denver, CO - November, 06 2012:
Great bag, it would be a lot better if the zipper was continued all the way around the foot box and if the left side had a short zip for comfort. The strap attachments at the foot are a bit of a pain. For the price it is great, but I would have paid more with better zipper design.LouieV. of Los Angeles, CA - January, 12 2013:
This bag is great. Plenty of room and very comfy. Nice and warm. It's big and a little heavy but it's not intended for backpacking but instead campgrounds. I use it all the time at home now.Paul Sedillo of Kuna, ID - January, 15 2013:
I purchased this bag for my son. I purchased one for myself last year and was very pleased with it. The bag is somewhat bulky, however, it is over sized to accomodate larger frames. Plenty of wiggle room. It was toasty warm during my elk hunt in the high country. Great bag for the price.Greg of Miami, FL - May, 28 2013:
Purchased this sleeping bag for a Moose hunt to Alberta, Canada, this October. The outfitter recommended a sleeping bag that was good to -30F to -40F to ensure a good night's sleep. I found the sleeping bag at Sportsman's Warehouse meeting my needs and at a great price. This is a nice warm and roomy sleeping bag but it's not small (huge) or designed for backpacking which I don't need to worry about.kc of Pine, CO - September, 01 2014:
Bought two of these this year... talk about luxurious sleeping! I am a fairly large person and I had plenty of room. The inside fabric warms you right up (no lying around trying to get warmed up so you can sleep)! Got down to 12 degrees F and we slept very warm & toasty. Only down side is that it is a very large bag that can't be compressed easily for travel -- can only truck-camp with it, no backpacking! That being said, it's an awesome bag for it's intended use.Walter of Avoca, MI - February, 09 2015:
Bought the minus 30 bag. Well made and comfortable. My smaller size of 5'7 slim fit nicely as I am claustrophobic in a mummy bag. First night of BSA Klondike it was 4 degrees. Slept in my underwear and was warm all night. Next night was 24 degrees and ended up sweating. Had to get into my lighter sleeping bag I had underneath. Normally I need extra to stay warm but not with this bag. Cannot verify the minus 30, but know 10-15 degrees for the max high of this bag.
