Browning Glacier Extreme 6 Person Tent - This tent was designed and built to last while protecting you from all the weather you encounter. Even if your weather conditions are mild, you'll still be able to enjoy the added features the Glacier Extreme provides. A steeper roof pitch sheds off snow and ice. No one likes sleeping in the ground, so the Extreme utilizes straight walls to allow more room for cots. The tent body attaches to the two aluminum poles using a quick clip system for a faster set up time. Two large vestibules provide added space for storing extra gear. With $50 off on the online Memorial Day sale and no stores within hours of driving... I decided to jump on the deal anyways and chance it, only knowing as much as the youtube commercial on this tent would provide .....I've been looking for a quick setup 10x10 weatherproof / bombshelter style tent with a full coverage fly for a while....since camping in a family members Bombshelter which is an old school woodland camo Johnson Outdoors tent, now comparable to the Barney's frontier gear of alaska Bombshelter tent, ($1250). Me and my wife set this tent up at my house, not paying any attention to instructions, in 20 minutes or so, fly and all, excluding guy lines... the tent setup easily, the aluminum shock corded poles are impressive, it is made of good material, the interior was roomy, the interior footprint is included(although it is not mentioned in the product purchase page), the full coverage fly is a great feature, you can either leave it off or put it on using the quick buckle clip system, the option of rolling up the sides for an air breeze is a great idea- great cot height windows/air breeze thing to note while thinking back on the youtube commercial at the end the man says it would not fit back into the original carry bag, I had no problem getting everything back into the carry bag, also kept the original box and was able to put a folded 10x20 tarp (which I will use for underneath the tent) inside the box, in preperation for this upcoming hunting season where the tent will be on it's first camping trip.... so far though... very happy with the purchase, quick setup, cant wait to get it out in the high country and see how it holds up in some thunderstorms...hope this first review helps...

I bought this tent mainly because I wanted a strong heavy duty family tent that I could take in any weather we have in Arizona. The tent sets up fairly easy for one person. We just went camping on the rim last weekend where it was pouring the whole way up. I was able to set the tent up in the rain by myself in about 15 minutes. Once we got inside it was nice and dry. It poured all night and we stayed dry all night long. That is exactly the kind of tent i wanted. For the money, this is a pretty decent car camping all weather tent.

After debating on the browning glacier and the cabelas M-1 outfitter I finally decided to buy the browning mainly due to price point $449.99 vs $699.00, also I liked the included floor liner. I really wanted a bomb shelter style tent with straight walls and lots of head room with a full coverage fly with guy outs. I set it up alone easy maybe 10 minutes. very happy so far. will be using it on my elk hunts. after last years brutal thunder storm in my old tent and waking up with my tent laying on my face and water everywhere I decided its time to invest in a weather proof tent that can withstand the wind and rain. in the Youtube review video they complain about not being able to repack the tent poles fly floor liner and stakes back into its carry bag. I had no issue a little snug but zipped closed with ease. After setting it up and inspecting the tent i'm very excited with my purchase and the aluminum poles are very nice. I will be using a 10x20 tarp folded in half under for protection. Guaranteed this will make my elk hunt even better.

Just came back from a 5 days camping trip in the Browning tent up in Honesdale PA, there were wind chill warning minus 30 degrees F and winter storm warning for 2 days, tent was hit by gust of wind 35-50 mph all night, tent was solid as a rock, and keep me warm when temperature dip to -30 F I use 2 ceramic heaters during the night. Tent was easy to set up, I be able to set this up myself under the extreme condition I was in. no one else sells this tent except Sportsman's Warehouse, everyone carries the 4 person model. Sportsman's Warehouse deliver this fast and their corporate personnel is so friendly.

Can't say enough good. Everything it claims to be and more. Easy up, rugged, well engineered, ventilates great thanks to the low windows that also allow you to look out laying on the floor or cot. A lot of options for configuring and really appreciate the attention to detail like easy tie-offs for doors and windows and instant tautness adjusters for tent tie downs. More than I hoped for!

After a bunch of research I purchased this tent. It was the most heavy duty tent without going full canvas. I set it up prior to my first trip. It was the easiest tent of its size that I have ever assembled. It took about 10 minutes right out of the bag. It went right back in the bag with no squeezing, pushing or smashing. Our first trip with it was to the pacific coast. Once again it went up with ease. The rain fly impressed me with how heavy duty it was. We had about two inches of rain on it. The only water inside was because I left the door open. I would highly recommend that anyone purchase this tent. The only issue I noticed was the vestible zippers are tricky in the dark after a few libations.
