Berkley AMP Casting Rod - Lighter, Faster, More Sensitive. Never before has power, performance and value been combined into a single rod family like the Berkley® AMP. In addition to being fast and sensitive, AMP rods are built extra tough, thanks to the new Armadillo Hide Finish, which eliminates cut fibers from the blank. Not only does this finish keep the blank free from imperfections, it increases strength and durability ensuring that an investment in an AMP rod pays off for a long time. At the heart of the AMP rods is increased sensitivity to give anglers the best chance to turn even the subtlest strike into a catch. AMP rods feature X-Posed reel seats and split grip cork handles on both spinning and casting models, which allows the hand to remain in constant contact with the rod to take sensitivity and light weight to a new level.
