Benchmade Mel Pardue Automatic Knives - The spear point blade shape of this small auto offers enhanced tip qualities. The Pardue models feature push button automatic actions with an integrated safety. The blades are made from high quality 154CM stainless steel and handles are black anodized, machined 6061 T-6 aluminum. Both models offer a steel carry clip. My Benchmade knives have never failed to live up to their standards of high quality. I recently sent in an older Benchmade knife back for sharpening and the knife came back razor sharp, mechanism cleaned and lubricated. They even sent a brand new clip complete with screw! Awesome service.

Great knife, I have had it for a couple months now and I love the auto opening. It is slim, small, and light weight. Very hard steel and so far I haven't had to sharpen it.

Benchmade is top quality. Great steal, great action, only thing I would change about this knife is the handle, I wish the handle had a little more of tactical grip to it. The smooth handle can become a little slippery at times.

You can not beat a Benchmade. This is a great assisted opening knife. You can always depend on Benchmade with their life-time warranty. No matter what is wrong with it, they will not let you down. This knife is one of my favorites just because of the assisted opeining on it.

Ive always been a fan of benchmade knives but ive never owned an automatic one, im always partial to more traditional knives. But after purchasing this model and using it everyday as a general carry blade ive been very pleased with it. Very smooth and reliable opening action and good quality blade. If youre looking for a quality automatic opening knife I would highly recommend this one.
