Timothy of Bellevue, WA - June, 17 2014:
What a great bow! I went to look at the new bows for 2014. Not just any bow, a flag ship. I have been an Alpine fan for years, but they haven't wowed me in 10 years. I did some research, and decided the Bear bows were top notch. Normally I would not spend $850.00 on a bow, but I decided after shooting cheaper bows, I would give it try. Light, smooth draw, fit me like a glove. Archery dept adjusted draw length in 1 minute. No modules, just one screw for the stop and 2 for the length, no press required. I really like single-cam bows. This one has an awesome draw cycle, like butter. Speed, yeah it has it! After the shot, dead in the hand. Really no need for stabilizer or limb savers. Slap a rest and sight on, and your ready to rock! So was it it worth the price? Is it that much better than the $500 bows? Yes, yes it is! Go test shoot one, I think you will agree!
