This unique holster design allows you to forget old-fashioned thumb breaks that slow your draw and complicate re-holstering. The patented SERPA Technology lock engages the trigger guard as you holster the pistol and won't let go until you release it. This serpa holster is awsome. It actuallly came with an optional padel holster attachment that I havent used yet. The belt loop attachment is great. It adjust to any size belt and angle for different postitions. There is almost no rattle whatsoever and my M&P 45 fits perfect in it. My pistol will not come out unless my trigger finger is exteded and presses the release button. I really like this holster.

The holster fits well with my 1911. The belt attachment works fine. However, the paddle has cheap plastic parts that can break fairly easily. I would recommend getting a leather holster that will last longer.
