This is a phenomenal product. I carry a 2.2" .38 Charter Arms revolver which fits perfectly into the holster. It is snug, it's not going anywhere until I reach for it, no where, cause the rough leather has good grip to it and the fit is well-designed. When I go to draw however, it comes right out with just that little, little tiny bit of resistance, which is how I like it. Your weapon won't get stuck, and it also won't fly out of your hand. The plastic belt grips see to it that the holster and your weapon aren't going anywhere and they can take all kinds of punishment. I recommend stringing your belt around your pants and attach the holster before putting the pants on, that way the grips really get seated on the belt properly. If the gun isn't in the holster, it's like it doesn't exist, but more importantly, I can keep my weapon on me all day without any discomfort whatsoever. I carry on the small of my back. Using this holster is like having a tail, it feels natural. Simply put, this product is a superior combination of reliability, comfort, ease of use and quality craftsman ship at a good price. After testing mine out for a few days, I went out and bought a second one, to prolong their service lives, but these are so durable I think they'll be with me for a long time. I'm not curious about what else might be out there. As long as I have this as my holster, I'm good to go.
I have the old style (clip behind gun) and it works well for my .357LCR 5 shot. I like the tuck or shirt tail out option. It's comfortable, secure, not to bad getting it on and off. Not sure I'd like the new model (clip in front). It's on me 90% of the time when out of the house.
So it conceals really well, and the belt clip is great for being inconspicuous, but one full day of wearing it this summer (in AL) made my Ruger LC9 rust so bad that it took the finish off the slide. I won't make that mistake again... I suppose the other negative is how the leather is pretty flimsy, which means my gun feels like it's on the move all the time. I'll be chucking this thing as soon as my N82 holster arrives.
I purchased this because it was a tuckable holster that was easy to conceal. After wearing this holster for a few days, it was easy to see that it was a great fit for the gun. Once the leather molded to the shape of the gun, it became easier to draw and is quite comfortable to wear. This makes the purchase worthwhile. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of wearing this holster in high heat and humidity for about 10 hours. The material that this holster is made from became saturated with body moisture, and retained it for a few days afterward. Even after letting the holster dry out in air conditioning, the moisture contained in the leather has left its mark on the slide, which has rusted and pitted the finish of my gun. I've had to let the holster air out for a full week to dry, but the finish on the gun is ruined. I now have a holster that is a great for concealed carry in the cooler weather only.
I hate this holster. I had one for one day. Returned it next day. I cant understand why they did away with the original design. I have three of those. They work great.
I bought this holster 4 months ago and love it. Contours my Smith n Wesson M&P 9mm great. Coworkers don't have any idea that I carry. Haven't worn it in warmer weather. Comfortable to wear. I carry for a minimum of 10 hour shift.
I really like the quality materials and workmanship in this holster. It fits my Taurus Public Defender 2"bbl perfectly. However, I can't use it because the belt clip is too low. Didn't want to pay return shipping for a refund. I ordered an Uncle Mikes size 0, which rides higher. Much better.
