A friend just brought 2 of these on a 4 night raft trip. Add a they pack smaller than a folding chair and are to heavy for backpacking but if space is an issue but weight is not they are perfect! 2 of these will be my next outdoor purchse. Perfect for car/tent camping. Quick to set up and take down. Good strong and sturdy material. Material is quiet so u don't wake others moving around on it. Braces are fairly heavy gauge and should last a long time.
BNL and I each purchased 1 of this cot to use while hunting/camping at Chicken, AK. The cots set up easily, folded to small package and worked great on the rocky ground while caribou hunting. I am 250# and when I sat on or slept on the cot worked great!
This cot is an absolute must for the motorcyclist camper. I used to sleep on a self inflating mattress. This rolls up to about the same size so I take both .... what a comfortable combo. Now we think we are sleeping in the Holiday Inn!! I have my brothers and some of their mates come over from New Zealand for camping motorcycle trips every couple of years out in the wonderful back roads of the north west US and this cot is a highly recommended accessory for all.
This is a great cot for anything but backpacking. I like to just set it up in the back of my pickup so I don't have to always set up a tent.
