I recently used an Alps Razor sleeping bag on a hiking trip with my scout troop. It was a backpacking trip in a rather warm location, so right away the fact that a normal size bag compressed so small and was so lightweight was impressive. There’s not a whole lot to the bag itself, and is almost comparable to a liner, but I must say it was perfect for my trip. Hiking and camping in the heat definitely has effects on what to pack, and this bag was lightweight and small, but at the same time, where we were it got cool in the evenings, which is where the fleece on the bag was very appreciated. Also, the fleece adds comfort to a very lightweight bag that would normally not have a lot to it.
